Recommended Reading
Opening Skinners Box: Great Psychological Experiments of the Twentieth Century, Lauren Slater (2004).
An excellent read for Psychologists and non-specialists with an interest in human behaviour. A must read for students hoping to achieve A* – B’s, Slater discusses these experiments; many of which are key studies for the A Level course, in a thoroughly engaging and analytical manner. She positions the studies in the social context of their time and conducts first hand interviews with those involved in the experiments, she even repeats a few of her own.
